new haus pictures

I took almost all of these with the panorama feature on my phone (bahahah that’s so cool), so there are some slightly odd bends and things sometimes, but behind the cut are pictures of the new house in its unaltered form… :)

Downstairs:

Entryway, leading into the…

…kitchen, behind which is the…

…back garden.

Then we backtrack and take the kitchen door featured on the right (kind of behind the post) and go into the ground floor bathroom & utility room…

…turn right again and go into what is currently laid out as the living room but is actually the dining room…

…and then in front of that, the living room, which is obviously currently set up as a bedroom.

Upstairs:

Upstairs (or midstairs, really) bathroom…

…what they call a “box room” here, just a small bedroom…

…the front bedroom…

…and the master bedroom over looking the back garden.

Fireplaces in the bedrooms! Score!

It looks like it is going to be wonderful.

Almost all older houses here have fireplaces in the bedrooms, and almost none of them are functional anymore. There's a pillow stuffed into the front bedroom one, for example, to keep out the probably very bad draft. :) They are listed as features, but what they really do is make it awkward to put anything against the wall they're on. @.@

That's lovely! Bedroom, kid bedroom, writing room, yes? And such open and airy spaces.

It'll probably be bedroom, kid bedroom, writing/guest bedroom, so that the young sir doesn't have to be displaced when people visit. And yes, lovely high ceilings! One of the nice features about many of the old houses here.

does it come with the pictured furniture?
kitmizkit on June 9th, 2013 03:40 am (UTC)
Yeah, though we're trying to get them to take the beds away. Houses here are generally furnished whether you like it or not.

Yay! Best of luck with the move.

Looking forward to seeing it in person sometime.

new house
Looks like a good kitchen! And I do love the midstair bath too. All in all, it seems like a wonderful place to call home.

Awesome backyard! And yay rooms! And lookit that, it comes with a curious little boy. I've heard of a furnished house, but not one with Endearing Accessories included.
