Kitsnaps: Finbarr Gargoyles

Finbarr Gargoyles
Finbarr Gargoyles
Now this gargoyle is definitely at St Finbarr’s Cathedral in Cork, even if I’m not sure about the apse photo from the other day. :) I like gargoyles, as people might guess. :)

I like Gargoyles too! We don't have a lot of them in this newfangled America thing.

I love gargoyles. As I recall, one of my favorite fictional heroes was a gargoyle. Now who wrote that book...

Probably Anton Strout, eh? :)

Who?

See, if you followed the link you'd have learned he'd written a book about gargoyles, see, and you would've gotten the joke... :)

Ah. Well, of course, I've heard of Mr. Stout, but I didn't know he'd written about gargoyles. I must have been thinking about some other famous and accomplished author :-)

Gah--Strout. Not Stout. Early morning, no coffee yet, new keyboard.
