Ted sent me out of the house today to write, which was an unexpected gift. So I went away, surprised myself by writing 5K in 3 hours, and finished SHAMAN RISES. The last words of Joanne’s adventures have now been written.

I mean, there’s revision work to do, both of my own and editor-requested when those come along, but yeah. I’ve wrapped it up, and I’m surprisingly satisfied with the ending.

I shall celebrate by watching at least one and perhaps TWO episodes of Downton Abbey. :)

The first THREE, now. I'm enjoying it very much. In fact, I'm kind of trying to figure out how I can take over the TV and watch the rest of them this week... :)

lololololol. :D

I'm about midway through S2 at the moment, and just hammered out a time scheduled to watch another chunk of it a week from Sunday. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you catch up and surpass me before then... :>

Almost certainly not, since I don't even own s2. Is it worth continuing on? I've heard mixed reviews about the 2nd and 3rd seasons.

Jury is still out on S2 (I want to finish it before giving an overall assessment), but it's particularly soap opera'y and has me hooked in enough to want to see where it goes. One thing I can say that I'm enjoying is that it's moved on to World War I by that point and it's entertaining to watch the characters 'living' during that time frame and what it likely entailed, even fictionalized.

I've had a few spoilers about S3 which are making me interested in continuing on, but I'm going to hold off on recommending anything on that one. :>

I shall await your verdict. :)
