Once you’ve caught up, come read my behind-the-cut comments. :)

First, I can’t believe there are 24 pages already. That means she’s been posting them for nearly half a year, which, boggle. Surely it’s only been two or three months…

Second, I played Ember on TooMoonsMUSH for like ten years, and Mender and Teir’s adoration of her still grates on me. It’s just so…blind, I don’t know. Meh. Maybe I should re-read it, maybe I’ll like it better on second look.

Third, anybody know what Windkin’s grown-up name *is*? I haven’t got a clue, being far out of that loop.

Fourth, also on the being out of the loop thing, I have no idea who any of these Wavedancers are. I may have vaguely known Suntopstream (really? Sunstream? Couldn’t he have gotten a whole new grown-up name, like “Amazing New High One” instead of keeping the ‘sun’ part? Because blick eta: ah, I just read the story of him getting his adult name, which is in the last story of In All But Blood, and while I’m still a bit meh on it, it’s suitable for what he did there. Anyway.) had recognized a Waverider, but there is clearly story I need to catch up on. That said, Sunstream’s Waverider form is perfectly ridiculous. Many of the others are beautiful (and I have no idea why they’re so dramatically different physically from each other/the other elf tribes), but it just makes me roll my eyes. And the baby is adorkable, so much is forgiven, I guess. :)
