That dress would look SO GOOD on you.

*sighs wistfully*

and i like that it has straps that would allow for a decent bra to be worn underneath it....

Lovely. I couldn't wear it :( But thank you for linking to the site. There are some amazing things on there that I would love to get (I adore the 1940s/50s or so dresses - mid-calf or longer, half - 3/4 sleeves, buttons down the front - but can rarely ever find any).

That sweater is fabulous.

I read your subject line as "O.J. Peterman", and thought, "The glove not only fits, but it's fabulously period!"

Oh wow. They have some lovely clothing.

I love that gown, too, and have no place to wear such a thing. Also, previous experience with J. Peterman is that I am to short for their clothes. But I can dream.

So what I do instead is "buy" it for one of my RP characters. Why don't you do something like that? I'd love to see you come up with a reason to stuff Jo into that dress. Although probably Margrit is more likely. :)

You need a *place* to wear those?
kitmizkit on January 11th, 2011 06:59 pm (UTC)
Well, not the sweater so much, but one can't really lounge around the house in a velvet evening gown. Particularly with an infant who periodically erupts onto one. :)

Oh, crap, I wish I hadn't seen that green velvet gown. WANT. Too bad I'd have to have about 8" carved out so I didn't have a train. :( Maybe if I keep working out... :)

PS: I am totally going to be at D*C, Kit. And I am totally putting myself down for taking you out for dinner one night.
