i voted black because black goes with everything ;)

that and of course it depends on the atmosphere of where you're using it, the outfit its with, etc. etc.

I voted purple because then you could add a purple stripe to your hair and be perfectly accessorized.

Also, "goth as a bunny" made me snarf my coffee. Next button-maker I see, you're getting one that says that,.

It's true, though. I could dig to China without finding an Inner Goth.

Maybe I should be a Goth for the Halloween party...

speaking of which (bunnies) when the box finally makes its way through the snow to you, there's a small amusement in it, as well...

mine is red!

Really torn between white & cream, picked white.

I'd go with a light colour (probably cream) if the main purpose of the parasol is for sunshade/cooling in the summer (experience in .au has led me to really grok the difference between colours when it comes to keeping cool - the darker the colour, the hotter it gets and then starts to radiate heat itself). If the purpose is more as a fashion accessory, then whatever colour matches the rest of your wardrobe best.

Yes, this!
kitmizkit on December 17th, 2010 12:12 pm (UTC)
The purpose is indeed to keep the sun off!

I said cream because white/cream go with most everything also, but cream is slightly more forgiving of shmutz than is white...

I voted for red 'cause I want you should stand out in the crowd.
kitmizkit on December 17th, 2010 12:12 pm (UTC)
You don't think carrying a lace parasol in 2011 is stand-outish enough? :)
Laura Anne Gilmansuricattus on December 17th, 2010 12:53 pm (UTC)
after what I saw in Dublin on a Friday night? Not really....

The last year or so could be deemed "The Year of Steampunk", so no ... it'll have to be a red parasol. Think of it as a whole "The Sixth Sense" thingy.

I picked cream, because white usually ends up as cream after one has used it a few times anyway.

I want to vote polka dots, or paisley.

I love paisley...

I have to go with black because, well, white just gets dirty and I have a hell of a time matching cream/tan with anything other than green. Might just be me, though.

Parasols need to be pale and lightweight to be really useful. The dark ones look pretty, but don't keep you as cool. (I am a huge parasol fan. Mine is light blue.)

Totally purple but I fear Lorraine's influence in that matter.

I was waiting for somebody to link to that. :)

It IS a lovely picture, isn't it!

White, because if you ever need to give a baby shower you already have your first decoration. Then there is the heat issues and white. And finally white can go with just about anything.

I must say that I'm biased.
My hair is purple and my dress is teal and purple and my tights are purple. If I were getting a lace parasol, I would get purple.
