New flickr set

I’ve started a new Flickr set, not of great shots or anything, but just snapshots taken around Dublin. I’ll put ‘em behind the cut to spare the friends-list, but bigger versions are available as click-throughs…

Mother Nature Dances</p>

The Millennium Spire

Seagull Houses

Local ruins

Rainbow Sky

And not-a-Dublin-picture, but real darn cute anyway: I was taking pictures of us and gave him a kiss and he turned his head to give me a kiss back just as I took the picture. :)

eeeeeeee he's so cute! :D My son's a big kisser too, these days he'll grab my head (or Hubby's) to pull us in for some serious smoochage.

The cuteness. It threatens to consume me. :-)

My favorite Dubin photo is the last one, with the lustrous cloud and half-a-rainbow. In the river one, what are the blue and red/pink/fuchsia things in it?

Baby smoochies are fun! My teenage son still wants to give and get hugs from his parents, and I count myself lucky in this.

One awwww moment I had when the teen was called Buglet, was after he'd been eating solid/mushy food for a while (this puts him in his second year), he was beginning to be able to feed himself, if messily. I was sitting next to him. He turned to me with some food in his spoon and tried to feed *me*. I gather he thought he was supposed to do for me what I'd done for him. I hope that time is a long time away, though--I'm hoping to put it off for as long as I can.

He is a very kind and generous boy, and I think Indy is likely to be the same, given his parents. What talents will *he* inherit or develop? It'll be fun to see.

Ivy envy
I like the house because of the multi-colored ivy. If I was a painter I'd totally want to set up my easel across the street.
It's a pity that major renovations would almost certainly mean stripping all that ivy away.
Barring the smooch from YI I think it's the most interesting.
