differing philosophies

Ted and I have differering philosophies on oatmeal. He, looking at mine: “I just don’t like soup for my breakfast.” Me, looking at his: “And I don’t like glue for mine!”

Thinks to do today, not necessarily in this order:
- make bread
- clean kitchen
- go for a walk
- nap
- shower
- start the Pilates for Normal People videos
- get together the materials to go register Young Indiana’s birth at the embassy (<– actually important)

I believe that I am in Ted's camp on this one. :)

I'd rather have my oatmeal in power-bar form. :)

Clearly, you both need congee for breakfast. Soupy-glue!

it's not oatmeal if you can't use it for spackle.

I am closer to Ted's side in this, I think.

My favorite oatmeal form is cookies.

Glue is the way for me. Soupy oatmeal makes me cry.

Either "soup" or "glue" Implies something far too smooth and liquid. I go for a grainy consistency - like a thick tapioca pudding.
