I made it to Baby Cinema yesterday. The movie, a Woodie Allen film called “Whatever Works” was actually pretty enjoyable in the end, which is not really what I expect from Woodie Allen films. More importantly, however, Young Indiana was a delight, and indeed, the show was far less disrupted than one might have expected with 30+ babies there. They left the house lights up, so one could see to change diapers and to pace when necessary, and yeah. It was great. I didn’t meet anybody (I did try to strike up a couple conversations, but it didn’t work), but I did figure out that one needs to arrive early enough to stand in line for coffee and talk to people. Had the bus not been very very late I probably would’ve arrived that early, but anyway. Success! I will go again next time, with any luck! Yay!
