ah hah!

I was vaguely thinking I should watch some TV in the evening when I’m trying to get Henry to sleep, but Ted and I are watching Buffy together, so I didn’t want to pick up with that. And (in the world’s laziest laziness) Highlander, which I’ve only managed to get through 4.5 seasons of, is upstairs, which apparently makes it too hard to watch.

However! I just noticed this afternoon that Beauty and the Beast is down here, and Ted has no interest at all in watching that. So I’m going to watch all three seasons.

I have no expectation at all that it’ll have aged well. I’m quite certain it’s more soap-operatic than I thought it was when I was, what, sixteen? But I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy it anyway. :)

Oh, but it was so much fun to rewatch. Well, except for the third season because I was such a Catherine/Vincent 'shipper. Oh, and brace yourself for Catherine's Mary Sueness.

I suspect Catherine's Mary Sueness is part of why I loved the show. Especially since my name is Catherine. Ron Perlman made me like my name. :)

I have always loved BATB. When I was pregnant I watched it at night as I fell asleep. Once I made my way through all three seasons I started on The Greatest American Hero. Alex was born just as I started season 3 of that and I never got around to finishing it.

Heehee. Sort of like Spellbinder, which was my placenta brain tv series of choice :-) Wonder if I'll ever dare watch that again...
