interactive Kit is interactive

I seem to be doing a Spontaneous Interactive Author Day, as I declared an #askawriter thing on Twitter, and I just got a note from the fine folks at Bitten By Books that the Inheritors’ Cycle books are being discussed today, so I’m going to hang out there to chat and answer questions, too.

So since Interactive Kit is being Interactive, if you want to play Ask A Writer here, too, well, go for it. :)

Do you have a favorite character? Or is that like asking a mom if she has a favorite kid?
kitmizkit on February 24th, 2010 02:54 pm (UTC)
*laugh* I do, in fact, but I won't tell people who it is. :)

Oh yeah, that reminds me I was going to mention that the short story collection you have a story in just arrived at my apartment yesterday. The Queen Awakens or something like that. :)

Um. I should ask a question. What time of year is best to visit Ireland?
kitmizkit on February 24th, 2010 03:00 pm (UTC)
Cool, you're the second person who's mentioned getting it!

April. Late April has been most consistently pleasant in weather terms over the past four years, although that's saying somewhat less than I'd like it to be...

I felt really bad on Twitter that I didn't have a question, and then I realize it's because I freely turn any day into #askawriter day without permission. Whee! :)
kitmizkit on February 24th, 2010 05:48 pm (UTC)
*laughs* Yeah, the whole concept is sort of a break-down-barriers thing in case there are people who would kinda like to ask but don't want to intrude, but when you've known somebody fifteen+ years... :)

It is ridiculous that you think either of us is old enough for that to be true.

;)

Oh dear, and that reminds me that it's a few months shy of being 20 years since Catie and I met......oh dear.....

At knitting club last night, Catie, someone was making vague references to the Scotsman's "lad" who won first prize and it made me laugh, thinking of you and me and Lizard and Dean? or Kevin? or someone traipsing across the parking lot belting out the song (off-key in my case), while completely sober....

Hmmm. How long does it take a couple of books to get from Ireland to Colorado?
kitmizkit on February 24th, 2010 06:20 pm (UTC)
Since the guy in Wisconsin got his today, I'd say 8 days.

Oh yeah--with the Dermody books, is it necessary to read /The Cardinal Rule/ first, or can one figure it all out even with skipping the first one in the series?
kitmizkit on February 24th, 2010 06:38 pm (UTC)
You may find it not to be an issue, when you get the package...

Although as a rule I always think it's best to read all the books in a series in the right order, whether I wrote them or not. :)

*raises eyebrow, grinning*

I wonder if the mail's arrived yet today.
