*Buh*.

Apparently I’m a question in the X-Box Trivial Pursuit game. “What city does C.E. Murphy’s Negotiator series take place in?”

*Buh*.

No, let me repeat: *buh*!

In other news it has just struck me that the 10 pages of “Hot Time” I wrote today may have all just gotten me up to the beginning. This is…somewhat dismaying. I’ve written well over 6000 words on it so far. It’d be nice if more than half of that was useable. o.O

I’m now going to spend the entire weekend playing City of Heroes, ’cause it’s DoubleXP weekend. :)

miles to Minas Tirith: 538
ytd wordcount: 201,200 (look! I broke 200K for the year!)

(x-posted from the essential kit)

Wow. Next up: the C.E. Murphy trading card!

I also am planning on spending some time this weekend doofing around in CoH, kind of a planned last hurrah before Champions Online hits and is hopefully as much fun as CoH and then moreso. :)

Being referenced in Trivial Pursuit = awesome!

Wow! Okay, that's a new one to add to the list of benchmarks for fame and fortune: you know you've made the big time when your stuff is referenced in trivia game questions. :)

Someday, Alex Trebek will look at you out of the TV screen with a straight face, and say: "For 200 points, in Modern Fantasy: The paranormal romance/adventure genre frequently puts a vampire, a werewolf, or in author C.E. Murphy's case, one of these in the romantic lead."

And we will say SQUEAK :)

I'll see your "Buh!" and raise you a "whuh?!" You has arrived!

Enjoy thwacking things this weekend! triple points thwacking is like shopping in the sales, fun with fringe benefits.

Oooh! What server? I usually play blue side on Infinity and red side on Victory, though I have a few others, too. My global name is @Ysabel and I'll be around on and off all weekend for double xp too.

DUDE, HOW AWESOME IS THAT? Both for you and for me and my ability to actually know questions in Trivial Persuit?
