Gah.

Gah. I just had a perfectly horrible moment where I looked at the numbers and thought I still had 40,000 words left to write on this book. Then I realized I was subtracting the number of words I’d written this month from the total necessary, rather than subtracting the total words written from the total necessary. The 10K difference there is rather important.

The first number, by the way, is 70,000, and will be 73K by the end of the day. Nanowrimo is for weenies*, and 70K in April is why I will not be participating in Maynowrimo.

*Not really.

I laughed out loud at the NaNo comment, though I'm sorry for your hapless discovery.

CRAP I still owe you email! Grrrr.

"Nanowrimo is for weenies" - HEY! I resemble that remark!

On a side note, I haven't said much lately, but I remain continually proud and envious of your output, especially since the last month and a half have been brutally slow. Then again, I have a fulltime job that isn't fiction writing.

That said, there WILL be a finished copy of "Tokyo Inferno" out the door by the end of August.

It is, but that's not why. :)

*falls over laughing*

Yes. That 10k difference is rather significant. *giggles at the rest*
