mostly metrics

Ted made a stunningly good dinner tonight. Salmon with herbs de provence in dijon mustard, and grilled vegetables and lemon-and-garlic spinach. Insanely, insanely good. And he cleaned most of the house.

Me, I read a book. And knitted eleven more rows. And did laundry. I think he wins the Superior Human award for the day. I also swam, and my shoulder is/was acting up, so I’m spending as little time as possible online for a while. *scoots off*

See, it's ok, you haven't missed anything. :)

Great minds think alike. :-)

So does she knit English or Continental? :-)

(I'm taking a small break at the moment because turning heels always makes my hands cramp up and it's Wen's sock. Another 48 rounds and the sock will be done and that can wait until tomorrow.)

I knit continental. Unless I'm doing long strings of purls with laceweight - that's sometimes easier (and better tension) with english.

I have a sock that I should really finish too

I actually started another sock before this one needed its heel turned. A person in the library knitting group was having problems with the pattern and just reading the pattern made no sense to me. So I cast-on my first ever toe-DOWN sock with minimal cuff (5 rows) and made the heel flap and turned the heel and it all Made Sense. So when I see the person on Thursday night I can explain/help if she needs me to again.
