someday the ‘to do’ list will say ‘relax for six months’

thinks to do today:
- pilates
- write. ideally, write 2 chapters 1.something will do
- finish AAs (but who are we kidding, this will be done after Truthseeker’s done, it looks like)
- color notes
- go for a walk

*stares at that list* I feel like I’m missing something important on that.

I don't know which island they're on, off the top of my head... I think the family has property in a few places, as they've been there *cough*generations*cough* a long time. And did I mention that D. (the SO) makes chocolates? We're keeping him. *nods firmly*

that is the buddhist temple at the end of the valley of the temples in kane'ohe, o'ahu.

it sits at the base of the ko'olau mountains and if you go early in the morning... bring a cup of coffee, feed the koi and watch the mists rise up from the valley until the whole temple is revealed.

you can't hear any city noise, just the dripping of the rain forest and the waterfalls that come down the mountain when it rains.

one of the most peaceful places in the world for me. they welcome visitors and people who just need to sit and...breathe.
