reading v. writing: fight!

I had sort of sullenly decided I wasn’t going to write today, and that I was going to read a book instead. So I went and looked at the (close to 100) books on the TBR shelf.

And then went and wrote 1500 words on my own damned book, because I couldn’t commit to somebody else’s. It’s not you, baby, it’s me. I love you, but this relationship just isn’t going to work. I wanted to be with you, but I can see now that it’s a mistake. I’m sorry, but I can’t do this anymore.

On another note, what title would fit with these two:

TRUTHSEEKER, WAYFINDER, ___________ ?

It does sort of depend on the feel you're going for. But I'd have said 'speaker' for the verb of the last nounverber. Similar to the Lightbringer suggestion, but I'd have said that you seek the truth, you find it, and then you speak it.

I agree with the Light aspect.

How about Lightwielder, Lightdealer, Lightgiver (ties in with Lifegiver)?

Alternately, if you're looking for a more tangible (rather than esoteric) third noun, how about Lore?

Lorewielder, Loregiver, Lorebringer, Loredealer.

Or if it's less about sharing it with others and more about protecting it, then Lorekeeper.

Or if it's more about creating more, maybe Lorebuilder

Lifegiver.

But possibly depends on what connotation you want. :)

John 14:6, KJV

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

It’s not you, baby, it’s me.
*snorks coffee*

Truth -> Way -> Enlightenment / Light
Seek -> Find -> Take / Keep / Bring / Bind

Yup. I agree with the mass-mind; LIGHTBRINGER

Maybe "lamplighter" or "pathwalker?"

The first thing that popped into my head was HearthKeeper. Somebody's got to keep the home fires burning while the others are out seeking and finding things.

Troll advice
several lore titles that I use in my really shitty short stories are:

Fatehunter
Pathwalker
Skysearcher
Godslayer
Lorehungerer
Oathbreaker
Earthcarver
Windreader
Bloodcaller
Deathstalker (which is now a title for NPCs in the Undercity in WoW!)
Dunestrider (Anythingstrider actuaally, plainstrider, stonestrider, earthstrider...)

hope it helps.

Seems to me like you're doing the whole apprentice, journeyman, master thing. So, I would go with something that ends in Teacher, Bringer, Giver, Builder, Maker or Master. I'd even say Sharer, but that's awkward.

I like the Light idea for the noun. Path works, too. Law, Star, Light, Path, Home... I suppose this one depends a bit more on what Truth is being sought in the first place.

Must be said, I think I prefer Hopebringer to Lightbringer. But yeah, if the first bit is seeking, the next finding, then the final bit should be something like bring. So hope works. Dreams also works. I dunno, light just seems... too used?
