Oh wow!! That's stunning! I love taking pictures at night, but I've never managed to have the moon show up so vividly.

That's lovely.

Also, you did it again. Princess Bride reference. Yeesh, woman!

*bursts out laughing* I was WEAK, there. I shouldn't have indulged in that one, but nobody made me change it... :)

Well, it did fit, I'll give you that.

Overall, very interesting. Not sure where this one is pointed, which is also interesting. I can usually get a feel of what the general events or type of events will be in a series after the first book but I'm not at all sure with this one. Congrats!

I'm reading my way through the Titan Books reprints of the Dan Dare stories fron Eagle. I'm now on volume three, The Red Moon Mystery...

Wow! Just wow! Can I buy that? Please!
kitmizkit on May 20th, 2008 03:00 pm (UTC)
Sure. :) What size print would you like? I think I can guarantee the quality at 8x10" (having printed it out at that size on my not-photo-quality-printer just to see what it looked like), or, well, more or less anything below that.

What size is the file? I'd like it large ideally.

Um, at 8x10, it's a 21 meg file. It may blow up to an 11x14 pretty nicely, but the thing is, I really can't *tell* until it's printed out, and getting an 11x14" print (40meg file), while not bank-breakingly expensive, also isn't cheap (I can stop by one of the photo shops this afternoon and find out how much it actually would be), so I don't know how much experimentation you'd want to do/want me to do. :)

Sorry. Our neighbour just had a print blown up to A0 size backed on foam board and the guy in the print shop (can't remember the name but it is at the bottom of Shandon Street, on the quays and is orange and black - why are they always orange?) said the file needed to be at least 5 meg to work at that size. Hers looked great but was not a night scene. However 21 megs sounds like a good margin. While I can't quite afford A0 - or have anywhere to put it - I might go A1. When I said 'buy' I meant 'buy' so would not expect you to pay any costs of printing either.

No wonder ancient (and not so ancient) people worshipped the moon.
