not what I planned…

Well, this morning did not go as planned. I went to the gym, which was planned. I walked home, which was planned. But it turned out I’d forgotten my keys, and Ted was in the back garden hacking away, so neither ringing nor knocking nor calling nor shouting could gain his attention. After a few minutes of trying all of those, I shrugged and went for a walk. Consequently, by 11:20am, when I got back home again (where, fortunately, Ted had come inside for a break), I’d walked over six miles. Right now I’m still feeling quite perky and cheerful from it all, but OMG I bet I’ll crash hard later.

Anyway, the plan *had* been to gym, then go to work on HoF revisions. I’ve done dishes (need to go start laundry) and had lunch, and wow, I just kind of noticed that typing is a whole lot easier today. I’m almost up to speed. The period key is still a little owie to hit, but not so much that I’m avoiding it by using my middle finger instead of my ring finger. YAY. Er, anyway, laundry-starting and then revisions, that’s the new plan.

Trad music at the new pub tonight. Must remember to go.

miles to Minas Tirith: 133.5

Do you want company?
kitmizkit on February 27th, 2008 03:05 pm (UTC)
Very possibly! Except I've realized tonight is ALSO Torchwood, so now I'm in a dither as to which thing to do. I'll see if I can find out what time the music is. :)

Well - I think I have torchwood downloaded from last week's BBC3 ep - though if you mean the new ep, I won't be able to download that til next week due to having reached my limit..

Also I think it gets repeated on thursday?

Maybe it is just me... but why didn't you walk around the house to the garden and asked him to lend you the key? *curious*
Good to hear that your hand is better though

Because one cannot walk around these houses. They're terraced, and where there's an empty lot there's also a great big massive eight foot fence keeping you from getting into it.

Ah. I see. I am used to Sweden where you can walk around the house quite easily.

You are in ireland now - the correct term is "site" not "lot"

::evil grin::

We had that a few years ago - our neighbour locked herself out and she asked if she could come in and wave at her mother to open the door (her mother being deaf could not hear the doorbell). Cue several minutes of out neighbour in her business suit frantically waving and yelling - while her mother smiled sweetly and waved back.

I totally got House of Cards, let out a shriek,, and started flailing as I saw my name after Team-Whack-a-Mole, and promptly bent the cover. I felt horrible for bending the cover, but I ran around my house showing my family the "Catherine K" in the acknowledgements. I think my family thought I was a bit daft, but my parents were sufficiently impressed by my whacking moles for you. Then I remembered I was suppose to read the book. XD It's fantastic so far!
