Happy anniversary!
From my mother, on the occasion of my parents' 39th wedding anniversary, which is today:

So we're sitting around in Heuston Station, waiting an hour and a half for the next train. The bookstores there are already closed. Your father says, "Well, that'll teach us to always bring reading material with us."

I say, "Oh, it's not so bad. We can always talk to each other."

He says, "We have been talking. But if we had books we wouldn't have to."

And there you have it, folks. 39 years. :)

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad. I love you guys. :)

Funny, my wife seems to think there's some flaw in that logic. I can't seem to find it. *shrug*

I got the book you sent. Thank you very much, that was very kind of you. I thought you'd forgotten, and I felt funny reminding you about it, since I don't really know you. But thanks, that's very sweet that you remembered. And, sorry, I didn't mean to unfriend you. I think you got sent to the spring cleaning pile somehow. Whoopsie. I will definately enjoy reading this book. Thanks again!

Oh, and congrats to your parents!

No, no, hadn't forgotten, I'm just the world's worst person at sending out books. I apologize for the WORLD'S LONGEST DELAY with it. :/ :)

Don't apologize, getting a letter AND an autograph from a real author, definately worth the wait. (Btw, totally hate you for your success :D)
