comic con schedule, version 2

Version II of the Comic Con schedule. This is one of those things where I’m about to say something I can hardly believe needs to be in my vocabulary, but:

All meals and meet-ups with friends are subject to change based on professional commitments. I would really love to be going to Comic Con to just be an utter fanboy full of squee, but I’m going to work. Meetings or meals with my publishers and promotional activities have to take precedence. Hopefully I’ll be able to manage it all, but if for some reason I have to drop out of a meal or a meet-up, it’s not personal. Swear to God. It’s just work. :)

I tell you what, there’s so damned much stuff going on I can’t even make a decision as to where I’d even *like* to turn up. I suspect it all changes when you’re on-site anyway…

I taunt you with my monkey pants!

Ok, so even if I don’t get to see The Dark Knight this week and so you all get to taunt me, I have things to taunt back with!

First: I’ve posted a teaser for HANDS OF FLAME, which is, quite astonishingly to me, out in a mere six weeks.

Second: Subterranean Press’s A FANTASY MEDLEY, starring writers Kate Elliott, Robin Hobb, Kelley Armstrong, and C.E. Murphy (one of these things is not like the others), will be out in March 2009. This is a limited edition anthology which is not yet available for pre-order, but I’ll link to it as soon as it is. My story in it, “From Russia, With Love”, is a story of the Old Races, and only about 2500 people are going to be able to buy it and find out the tie-in with a not-really-throwaway line in the afore-mentioned HANDS OF FLAME.

So hah! I taunt you! :)
