still chugging

Inevitably, the "just a few little things" are taking much longer than anticipated, but they're the kinds of things I'm glad I'm doing, so it's okay. I've been through the manuscript about eleven times this morning and I'm getting a little tired of it, but OTOH, once in a while I come across a line that still makes me very happy. So it must be worth it. And I really think I'm down to the last bits now! Honest! Practically, anyway! :)

What kinds of writer things are people interested in reading about, anyway?

Tommy Murphy's Exciting Trip To The Store

Mom just related this story of Dad's Exciting Trip To The Store.

Dad went to buy some milk and a treat for Mom and happened upon a young woman, two early teen boys, and a bike at the edge of the road. Thinking someone might have fallen or been hit, he asked what was happening. It turned out the young woman, who was Polish, had fallen and the boys stopped to help her.
