interview meme strikes again :)

creativedv8tion is doing the interview meme, and I haven't done that in a while, so I thought I'd play. The rules are:

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Obviously one doesn't have to do the last two steps, but I'll do up to five interviews if people respond to this. (Can't guarantee more than that.)

Drawing a blank...

Drawing a blank, and I don't have any of my Heinlein books sitting around to check against, nor can I make the net tell me with any degree of certainty, so:

Can somebody conclusively verify or deny whether Lazarus Long's AI ship Dora referred to him as "Boss"? Memory is telling me she did, but I have been wrong once or twice in the past.

PHOENIX LAW is done. PHOENIX LAW is *submitted*. It is now in the high holy hands of the editor and the agent. And I...

...I am remarkably pleased with it. It's possible this means I've created a disaster beyond the ability of the human mind to conceive, but probably not. It's also possible it's not as good as I think it is, but fortunately, that's not something I have to worry about right now. Right now I can just rest on my laurels and gloat over it being DONE.

For about twelve minutes. Because I have to finish the proposal for #4, but more urgently I have to do the art sheet stuff for PHOENIX, and I have to put together some discussion questions for THUNDERBIRD, the latter of which was due on the 10th and I forgot to do. The former isn't due til Monday, so I probably won't do it tonight.

The poll suggests I should slack off and read for the rest of April, followed closely by writing the proposal for CAULDRON BORNE. I think right now I still don't know what I'm going to do. I was just thinking I should bring Little on the train with me, 'cause we're going up to visit Mom & Dad this weekend, but I think I've thought better of that. I think I'll read on the train. I can work on the SBX 4 proposal next week. We'll see if the HoS edits have arrived by then, and if not, I'll...figure out what I'm doing next then. :)

Right now I'm going to go spend a while making up interview questions for people, and then I'm going to do the THUNDERBIRD questions, and THEN I might watch some La Femme Nikita.

Ooh, but first I shall strike 'revise PHOENIX LAW' from my to-do list. Muahahahah!
