foist woids
I'll be durned. I wrote today. Not very much, and it took about two hours of solitaire to get started (I really should take that off the computer), but they're the first words of the year. :)

'course, I hate this part of the ytd wordcount, the stuff before 10K. It looks so pathetic and lonely. Poor lil' numbers. *snif*

ytd wordcount: 1100
miles to Dunharrow: 37
Current Mood: accomplished(a little bit) accomplished

Cmon - you have to tell us: What was the first sentence you wrote?

*goes to look*

"Folly; it was folly to linger here and learn her body, to claim her in hopes of finding a way to keep the promise he'd wanted to make in the first moments they'd spoken in her office."

Hey, you asked. :)

I wrote other stuff before that, editing bits, but I don't remember where, and that's where I picked up the story, so there ya go. :)

The secret word is 'folly'

Interesting. I once sat down in front of the computer and typed "This is folly." In trying to find out who said it and why, I realized some twenty thousand words later that I was writing a novel.
