If I were someone entirely other than who I am, I would get this phoenix tattoo:

Sadly, I am me, and there’s no chance I’d do that. (The full image, which is Wolvie & Jean, is 1. ZOMG RAAR, 2. NespeciallySFW, and 3. here for your viewing enjoyment. The artist is apparently an “Emanuele”, and I do not seem to know his work, but damn, I wish I did.)

There is always henna...which isn't permanent but is painless and will stay on for a while... I mean a little henna painting between loved ones goes a long way ;) ;)

Yeaaaaah, but henna's never grabbed me. We live in the future, for God's sake. There ought to be semi-permanent high-color tattoos by now!

There certainly are temp tattoos available--- they are however generally 2x2 inches or thereabouts. :(

Henna does (now) come in non-traditional and v.v. bright colors.

I have always wanted a phoenix tattoo. Something like that would be awesome. However, I have this allergy to pain, you understand? So I don't think I could handle the needles and such. If only I wasn't such a wuss about such things I would rock. Instead, I have to enjoy tattoos on others.

Henna works, but it isn't the same with some of the more vibrant colors you can get with tattoos. Plus, it does come off if it gets doused with enough water (rain, pool, ect.). Leaking color isn't fun.

If I were brave enough, I'd sit Kermit the Frog on my hip bone. But somehow I doubt that will be sexy when I'm 60. Oh, and that whole needles thing... *shiver* Bad enough nurses come at you like modern vampires, why would I subject myself to it by choice?
